My name is Kyle Huddleston. I was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in League City, Texas. I am from a family of four, consisting of my mom, dad, and twin brother. I am a Type 1 Diabetic. I have a passion for music, sports, drumming, teaching, and traveling. I am currently living in San Marcos, Texas and going to school at Texas State University.
I started playing percussion on a drumset in 2008 through private lessons. In high school, my band was accepted to play at the 2013 Midwest Clinic in Chicago, Illinois. In the summer of 2016 I marched with the Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps, a Drum Corps International (DCI) organization. In the 2018 season of Winter Guard International, or WGI, I marched with Rhythmic Force Percussion and held the position of ensemble captain for the 2018, 2019, and 2020 seasons. I was also a member of the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps for their 2019 production.
I have taught at College Station Independent School District and Bryan Independent School District. I have also taught at Pflugerville Independent School District with Weiss High School. I also work as an independent private lesson teacher and have been doing so since 2016. My most recent work was with McNeil High School, Deerpark Middle School, and Pearson Ranch Middle School, all in Round Rock ISD. I am also on staff with Rhythmic Force Percussion, and Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps.
I am currently teaching at Akins High School in Austin ISD. Education:
