Akins Wind Symphony Enjoys Success at the 2017 Dallas Winds Invitational Festival

The Akins Wind Symphony enjoyed a tremendous performance at the Morton Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas on Saturday, April 29th.
Today, the students were recognized with a 5th place finish out of 18 performing bands in the festival!
The Akins Wind Symphony also placed 3rd in "Overall Artistic Impression!"
The Akins band staff could not be more proud of the hard work of all the Akins Band students...and kudos to the members of the Wind Symphony on their outstanding results from our first time at this festival!
