Akins Band Texas Future Music Educators Attend the TMEA Convention & Clinic in San Antonio

23 members of the Akins High School chapter of the Texas Future Music Educators visited San Antonio from Thursday February 15th through Saturday February 17th. While there, the students had the opportunity to attend workshops on music education and pedagogy, listen to concerts performed by the best musicians in the state and the world, and network with other current and future music educators!
The future of Music Education is bright with young people such as this ready to take on the world!
