The Akins HS Jazz Band, South First Groove, performed at the AISD Jazz Festival on Saturday, April 22nd. The ensemble took home an "Excellent" commendation. Trombone performer Bobby Sepulveda took home an Outstanding Performer award!  South First Groove enjoyed a post-performance dinner and fellowship!
